Fitted hats, caps and beanies use head circumference. Get that one number and the rest is a lookup.
How to measure your head
- Use a soft tape measure. If you only have a ruler, use a piece of string and measure it afterwards.
- Wrap it around your head, about 1 cm (half an inch) above your eyebrows and ears, around the widest part.
- Keep the tape level and snug, but not tight.
- Read the measurement in cm or inches, and repeat to confirm.

Between sizes?
If you are between two sizes, choose the larger. You can add a hat band or sizing tape, but you cannot stretch a hat that is too small.
Caps and beanies
- Adjustable caps use a strap or snap, and one size usually fits most heads.
- Fitted caps use the numbered sizes above, so the chart matters.
- Beanies stretch, so they are usually one size.
